The sad story is the point that everybody is missing in Love Aaj Kal..is that its breezy colour is masking its flawed content.Just because it is strikingly a different take on human emotions..supposedly..aaj kal ke..its garneriing soo much attention.
Saif..is an individual ,who carries a hangoever that he can do these matter of fact roles and get away with it,yes true but how many movies..i count...dil chahta hai..same attitude in his acting,carried over in hum tum,salaam namaste,tararum pum...and the way he repeats..and its not new and not the in thing anymore...Kareena is so refreshingly different though critics are gonna kill me for saying this but Kareena...though she had done same characters in mujhse dosti karoge or k3g...when it came to JWM,she reinvented..and continues to..
Deepika ,first of all someone tell her that life is not as simple ki she smiles and its solved,second of all that saccharine sweet smile of hers irritates beyond a point when all you are looking for it is an iota of genuine acting and u arent even granted that privillege....and dress designers and make up experts..take a tip..do some trick to carmoflouge her round moon face ..so eveident in some scenes that it takes the attention off some scenes of the movie
What have we learnt from the movie's moralistic preaching,what do we learn from any movie,do we learn,nope..movies are for entertainment too,that explains why scores od david dhawan moviez and Now Kambakhht ishq hits the jackpot..But in Love Aaj kal..the writer in the end succumbs to commercial cinema wants..
The movie basically says..Kal ho ya aaj..pyar deserves the same junoon,so it says nothing changes when it comes to love.Oh cmon writer ji,kisko fool karr rahey ho aap...life isnt this..life isnt that u r a super sucess,flying high,then throwing mustard sauces and first happily playing computer games and then thakelaoing and returning to yourr love..Gosh get real..make a Love aaj kal ke baad ka kal..Life does not stop at ....
